Drivers looking to build experience in F4 level machinery can now take advantage of fully exclusive testing opportunities at MSV’s Circuito de Navarra in northern Spain.
MSV has purchased a brand new Tatuus F4-T421 car equipped with a 1.4 litre turbocharged Autotecnica engine, as used in FIA F4 categories worldwide. The car is permanently based at the venue near the major cities of Logrono and Pamplona, with bookings already open for days on the full-length circuit, and for drivers aged as young as 14.
The tests are aimed at drivers considering their first steps into junior single-seaters, those looking to build up extra mileage in a low-pressure environment, or even drivers considering a switch of disciplines.
Exclusive use of the car can be replicated with exclusive track time too. Drivers are able to make use of a completely clear circuit, with the F4 car the sole vehicle operating during the tests. The car can also be booked onto general test days at the venue, if desired.
The international specification Circuito de Navarra is the perfect venue for building experience in F4 machinery. The 4.3km layout boasts 17 turns and a full range of corner profiles as well as expansive asphalt and gravel runoff areas, minimising potential for damage and the disruption that comes with it.
With an experienced race mechanic on hand to run the car throughout each day, the car will be provided ready to run with full operational equipment included. Baseline dry and wet setup options are supplied for use, or if preferred, a driver’s own setup can be applied. Reference lap data from FIA F2 driver John Bennett will also be available for comparison.
Drivers are welcome to bring extra data engineers, race engineers and driver coaches should they wish, to further the development opportunities provided during the tests.
Fuel and other consumables are covered in the basic day rate, including two sets of new slick tyres per day, or one set of new wet tyres. One set of used slick or wet tyres will also be offered for initial running, with additional tyres supplied by pre-arrangement.
Setup adjustment options for springs, roll bars, wing angles and camber will be provided using the range of permitted parts from Tatuus.
Marelli WinTax data logging and SmartyCam3 on-board camera equipment is included, allowing drivers to take crucial data and footage away with them for their further analysis after each day in the car.
A comprehensive supply of spares is also available in case of accident damage or breakages.
