Circuito de Navarra confirms full 2026 race calendar

18 March 2026

Circuito de Navarra will host a superb calendar of motorsport in 2026 with events for cars and motorcycles throughout the season between now and October. This includes headline national fixtures, visits from overseas categories, car shows and much more.

High quality motorcycle competition

Circuito de Navarra retains its place as a key battleground for the ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship in 2026. The circuit will set the scene for not one, but two, rounds of the country’s leading two-wheeled category for a second year in succession after successfully hosting two events for the first time last season.

The first of these two major meetings, featuring a full programme of motorcycle action organised by the RFME in addition to a double-header from the headline Superbike class, will take place on 9/10 May. The series then returns for a crucial round, the penultimate of the season on 19/20 September.

Other motorcycle racing highlights will include the Weekend Racing Cup, for which hundreds of riders will travel from France on 27/28 June, in addition to the Campeonato de Motociclisimo CEF Interopen de Velocidad on 22/23 August.

Highlight car weekends

The venue will host a diverse programme of car racing throughout the 2026 season, starting from the Ultimate Winter Cup event on 21/22 March, which kicks the calendar off. That opening fixture will include a headline three-hour race for sports-prototypes and GT cars.

One of the most high profile weekends of the car racing calendar comes on 10/11 October when the EPIC Racing Weekend returns to northern Spain. The F4 Spanish Championship, with its grid of young drivers aiming to reach F1, will headline the line-up, but the TCR Spain, GT-CET and GR Cup Spain will also add to the entertainment.

The Caterham Iberia weekend will showcase lightweight sports-roadsters on 5/6 June, while the Ultimate Cup Series closes the calendar with a regular season round on 17/18 October.

The Eurocrew car show also retains its place on the schedule with a date set for 2/3 May.

Truck racing returns!

Another major highlight will be the return of the dramatic Spanish Truck Racing Championship to Circuito de Navarra for the first time since 2014. Featuring trucks weighing over 5,000 kg and producing more than 1,000 hp, the championship delivers a unique on-track spectacle. The event is expected to attract some of the discipline’s leading names, including renowned Spanish driver Antonio Albacete, a benchmark in European truck racing.

These giants will take to the track as part of the Campeonato Race de Velocidad event, which also features saloon car racing on 30/31 May.

Historic motorsport

The VdeV 1000kms of Navarra weekend will act as the showpiece classic meeting for cars on 10/11 April. The main endurance race will feature GT and touring cars up until the 1990s in addition to sports-prototypes from the 1970s. The full programme will also include dedicated races for retro GTs, touring cars and Lotus Sevens.

There will also be a historic Navarra Classic bike event, headlined by the European Endurance Cup, on 17-19 July. The event will also include Championnat de France Classic classes for a range of old-school motorcycles, plus a round of the French Sidecar Championship.
