A new circuit lap record was set at Circuito de Navarra this week (Wednesday), when Shaun Harborne set a benchmark time for 1920s machinery at the wheel of his 1924 Bentley 3- Litre Speed Model.

Harborne’s best time of 3m01.018s in dry conditions beat the previous best time for a car of that era, which he also set in the same machine back in October 2024. Harborne took to the 4.313km layout for a handful of laps at the close of that day’s on-track test, making the most of the time available to improve his record.

Harborne enjoyed his visit to the circuit, spending time with Circuit Manager Inma Lezana and Sales Manager Vincent Dellys and discussing the circuit and race events. He was then able to take to the circuit for a quick circuit run in the classic Bentley at the end of the day, during which he achieved his new best time.
