Circuito de Navarra hosted another busy two days of competition when the Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica and Copa Racers categories visited for three races each last weekend.

The Porsche grid was split into two classes – Porsche 1 for 991-specification GT3 Cup cars and Porsche 2 for 992 models. There was a clean sweep in Porsche 1, with Nuno Inocencio winning all three races at the wheel of his machine entered by Monteiros Competicoes.

In Porsche 2, the victories were split with Manuel Alves winning Saturday’s race for LOB MotorSport before he was beaten to second by AF & V Motorsport’s Pro-Am car of André Fernandes and Dylan Pereira on Sunday morning. Alves returned to the top of the standings with a win in the longer distance feature race on Sunday afternoon, however.

Copa Racer had three races of its own, but the victories were claimed by a trio of different teams in the GT class. The Hispano Alemán Racing Team crossed the line first in the opener on Saturday morning with the car shared by Oscar Aparicio and Ccsar Romero.

In the second Copa Racer Turismo contest, it was TSID Motorsport which prevailed, with the car co-driven by Catalina Burguera and Oliver Campos. Pablo Carregal made it three GT class winners in as many races with a victory for Frinsa in the final, longer distance race of the weekend.

In the Turismo class of Copa Racer it was Javier Conejero who won the first race for GT Corse, before following that up with a victory in race three on Sunday. Victory in the middle race went to the team’s other car of Hugo Latorre and Guzmánn Miguélez.
