British driver Ella Lloyd set the fastest time of the week on the second day of the F1 Academy in season test at the Circuito de Navarra on Wednesday.
The McLaren-supported driver powered her Rodin Motorsport car to a 1m46.259s in the final session of the day, around two tenths of a second quicker than the pace set on the opening day.
Lloyd was quickest in both sessions, but it was her morning lap right at the end of the day's first three-hour session which proved her best, 0.073s ahead of day one pace setter Maya Weug, with the pair locked in a battle for the P1 spot.
Mercedes' championship leader Doriane Pin was third fastest, ahead of Kick Sauber's Emma Felbermayr, with Chloe Chambers (Red Bull Ford) and Chloe Chong next up.
Lloyd's afternoon time of 1m46.424s fell just short of her earlier best, with Felbermayr rising to second in the afternoon ahead of Pin, who was third once more.
Weug was fourth this time around, with the lead quartet separated by just over a quarter of a second. Alba Larsen completed the top-five.
While the main season drivers have now completed their test, the focus now attentions to 18 rookie drivers, who will all be sampling F1 Academy machinery for the first time on Thursday, with six hours of track action to take advantage of, as they bid to join the series next year.
